This has gone to the ridiculous at this point, and I'd like a solution, please. In uninstalling I lost sim families I've been playing since the first day the game was released. I'm not about to repurchase the base game, especially since it worked just fine with EVERY expansion pack prior to Island Paradise. I was told to get the super patch (Um, the BASE GAME WILL NOT INSTALL! I HAVE NOTHING TO PATCH!) and then I got a list of the order of Sims releases - and how that is going to help me, is a mystery.
